Discipling the Flock Course Syllabus  

Purpose of this course is for you to understand that the major part of ministry is discipleship.

In this course you will:

• Understand what discipleship means
• Understand why discipleship is important in every church
• How to develop discipleship programs that fit stages of growth of the church
• How to train others to make disciples

My hope upon completion you will:

• Why discipleship is so important
• Know how to disciple
• Know how to train other to disciple others

Requirements for this course to complete:

• Show up for class on time. If you are going to be late or not be able to come to class you will miss out on important information. Make sure you have a course buddy that will help get you caught up
  • If you miss more than two classes without approval you will be dropped from the class.
  • Approval can only be done by text or email so there is a record. I keep all my emails and texts.
  • I need to be contacted before the start of class if you are not going to be there.
• Read your Bible daily.
• Be active in your Church.
• Participate in Class meetings.
• Be ready for the next class with any reading and studying completed.
• Complete all handouts and bookwork.
  • I don’t want one-word answers, please take the time to elaborate.
  • Try to be legible. This is for you to reflect on in the future, will you be able to read it in the future.
• You will have papers to write:
  • Why discipleship is important with historical references.
  • What areas you believe need to be covered in a discipleship program
  • How to lead a person to Christian Ministry

Upon completion you will receive a certificate of completing this class. Credit toward Your certificate of completion of all courses needed for your ministry offered by Christian Essential Doctrine Training.
