Old Testament II Course Syllabus

 

Purpose of this course is for you to get a better understanding of the Old Testament.

 

In this course you will:

 

•    Study the Books of Wisdom

 

•    Study the Books of the Prophets

 

 

My hope upon completion you will:

 

•    Have a basic understanding of the Wisdom and Prophets Books of the Old Testament.

 

•    Be able to understand why these books are important to the understanding of the New Testament.

 

 

Requirements for this course to complete:

 

•    Show up for class on time. If you are going to be late or not be able to come to class you will miss out on important information. Make sure you have a course buddy that will help get you caught up

 

    o    If you miss more than two classes without approval you will be dropped from the class.

 

    o    Approval can only be done by text or email so there is a record. I keep all my emails and texts.

 

    o    I need to be contacted before the start of class if you are not going to be there.

 

•    Read your Bible daily. Primarily the Books we are studying.

 

•    Be active in your Church.

 

•    Participate in Class meetings.

 

•    Be ready for the next class with any reading and studying completed.

 

•    Complete all handouts and bookwork.

 

    o    I don’t want one-word answers, please take the time to elaborate.

 

    o    Try to be legible. This is for you to reflect on in the future, will you be able to read it in the future.

 

•You will have papers to write:

 

    o    A paper on the books of Wisdom.

 

    o    A paper on the Books of the Prophets.

 

    o    A paper on the relationship of the Old Testament books we are studying and the New Testament

 

 

Upon completion you will receive a certificate of completing this class. Credit toward Your certificate of completion of all courses needed for your ministry offered by Christian Essential Doctrine Training.
