Spiritual Foundations Course Syllabus

 

Purpose of this course is for you to get a basic understanding of what you believe and God’s plan for you.

In this course you will

•    Do and in-depth study of what you believe.

•    Learning what it means to be a Servant Leader.

•    You will seek to see how God is already working in your life.

•    Know how to write out your testimony.

•    Gain a better understanding of what your plans for the future.

 

My hope upon completion you will:

•    Understand what you believe and why you believe.

•    Understand what a Servant Leader is.

•    Understand how God is working in your life already.

•    Understand how God wants you to serve in the church and community.

•    Have a testimony to share with people you meet and how to adapt it to each situation.

 

Requirements for this course to complete:

•    Show up for class on time. If you are going to be late or not be able to come to class you will miss out on important information. Make sure you have a course buddy that will help get you caught up

    o    If you miss more than two classes without approval you will be dropped from the class.

    o    Approval can only be done by text or email so there is a record. I keep all my emails and texts.

    o    I need to be contacted before the start of class if you are not going to be there.

•    Read your Bible daily.

•    Be active in your Church.

•    Participate in Class meetings.

•    Be ready for the next class with any reading and studying completed.

•    Complete all handouts and bookwork.

    o    I don’t want one-word answers, please take the time to elaborate.

    o    Try to be legible. This is for you to reflect on in the future, will you be able to read it in the future.

•    You will have papers to write:

    o    A Statement of Faith with Bible references.

    o    Your Testimony.

    o    Term Paper on your understanding of what it Means to be a Servant Leader

    o    Term Paper on why you believe that God has called you into Ministry with what that ministry is.

 

Upon completion you will receive a certificate of completing this class. Credit toward Your certificate of completion of all courses needed for your ministry offered by Christian Essential Doctrine Training.
